New Mexico

In New Mexico, we drove through vast landscape.  From prairie to red cliffs to the Santa Fe Mountains.  We stayed at Canon AFB, saw Billy the Kid's grave and enjoyed the scenery.

Kids at Canon AFB; and info on Billy the Kid's grave.

More info on the grave and beautiful New Mexico scenery.

In Colorado, we drove through, Pagoda Springs and saw the awesome mineral springs there; Durango, Silverton, and Ouray.  On the way back through Colorado, we stopped in Mesa Verde, Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs and Rocky Mountain National Park.  What a state!

In Idaho, we rediscovered some old favorites we loved form the days we lived there: Boise River Greenbelt, Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial, Payette River, Sawtooth Mountains, Redfish Lake, dinner at Redfish Lake Lodge.  It was great to remember our time there.

Anne Frank and Civil Rights Memorial.

My carefree daughter next to a statue of Anne Frank -  young girl with such a heavy load at such a young age.  It really made me grateful for the times and country we live in.

Above: Going back through Wyoming (after Idaho), we drove through Buford. Check out the population...1.

What a great trip.
